Proto man is the first robot master and the brother of Mega Man.
Much like his brother, he has a buster known as the Proto Buster, which only can fire two shots at a time, but he can charge it up into a more powerful shot, he also has a shield known as the Proto Shield, with it, he can deflect and block certain projectiles, Like Mega Man, he also has a weapons copy chip within him.
he first appeared in Mega Man 3 where he had fought his blue brother, Mega Man.
in the ending of Mega Man 3 he had saved Mega Man from a crumbling Wily Castle.
in Mega Man 4, he saved Dr. Cossack's daughter.
In Mega Man 5, he was framed for creating the 8 Robot Masters Dr. Wily made and kidnapping Dr.Light by a impostor known as Dark Man, fortunately the Real Proto Man arrived to aid Mega man once more.
he also appeared in Mega Man 7, where he gave useful information to his brother and also spared with him, after Mega Man winning, he gives him his shield.
He rescued his brother twice in Mega Man 8.
In Mega Man 9, He was a playable character and saved Mega Man once again.
He also had a role to play in Mega Man 10, where he decided to help his brother, Mega Man, Much Like Mega Man 9, he again was a playable character and carried the same move set from Mega Man 9.
